Furniture that inspires
Located 15 minutes from Ballarat, in the bushland of Smythesdale 3351, Clampdown Woodworks creates bespoke, hand crafted, mid-century influenced furniture.
Since learning the trade in 2001, Paul has mastered his signature style of Australian furnishings, inspired by the clean and simple styles of mid-century design and architecture. Clampdown’s pieces are flawlessly finished with clean joins, options such Clampdown Woodworks designed handles and feet with solid timber used throughout.
With the belief that furniture should looks as good from the back as it does from the front, Clampdown Woodworks are high quality products throughout, with the use of solid timber.
Valuing sustainability, majority of pieces are created from Australian grown timber including Victorian Ash, Messmate, Blackwood and Recycled Hardwood. It is this selection of materials that produce quality products that are built to last, reducing our environmental footprint.
Clampdown pieces are finished with Fiddes Hardwax Coatings, accentuating the natural qualities of the timber and clean craftsmanship.
